Of Shotguns and Radiators
As fun as playing games online is, playing them with/against people you know is just that bit better. Tonight I finally got round to adding Kieran to my Steam Friends list, and proceeded to stalk him in a game of HL2:DM. First go, we were on the same side (boo!), but second time round we got split up, which lead to many radiators to the face for me, and many double barrelled shotgun blasts to the crotch for him. Managed to clinch it by 5 kills in the end.
Took me a while to get back into the flow, haven’t actually played HL2:DM since before WoW came out, so close to 3 and a half years now. Now, if only he’d buy TF2, then the fun could really begin…
[...] After my break with Heather I spent some time with my family over the Easter weekend. I got to see my sister which, now she is at university, is a rare occurrence. We all went out for a meal together on Easter day which was a very nice affair. During the rest of my stay with my family I spent time fixing things around the house, relaxing, having the odd drink, and meeting up with James to catch up. When I wasn’t doing all that I chilled out on the computer throwing radiators at people. [...]
